SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
· Past work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar youth serving organization required.
· Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Workspace and data management systems.
· Good organization and prioritization skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
· High level of attention to detail and analytical ability.
· Ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing.
· Interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish/maintain effective working relationships with others.
· Knowledge of youth development best practices.
· Possession of a valid state driver license.
· Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certifications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and understand speech at normal levels and to speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly. The employee is frequently required to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb stairs or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

KEY ROLES (ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES):

Leadership
· In coordination with the CEO, COO and leadership team, plays a key role in determining the organization’s overall strategic direction, priorities and short-term/long-term goals. Owns specific goals and develops plans/timelines for their completion.
· Helps ensure BGCLPC’s establishment of and adherence to policies and procedures that reflect the Club’s mission, youth development best practices and state, national and local requirements.
· Provides leadership, professional development and support to Site Leaders, Activity Specialists and frontline program staff to ensure all Clubs are positioned to operate efficiently and deliver impactful programming that supports Academic Success, Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles.
· Obtains and maintains all certifications necessary to provide CPR/AED & First Aid and other necessary safety trainings to BGCLPC Team members; schedules and delivers trainings according to organizational needs.
· In the COO’s absence, provides “on call” support for Club teams; assists in investigating, documenting and/or resolving any issues that may arise during Club hours according to BGCLPC policies and procedures.
General Administrative
· Provides parent/caregivers with phone and email support related to Club-related issues – e.g., explaining specialized curriculum, providing technical support for membership applications, facilitating busing requests.
· Visits individual Clubs as needed to assist with registration, outcome assessments and data collection.
· Communicates with leadership team members regarding site-specific membership and attendance trends; works with the COO to identify growth opportunities and coordinate registration of additional Club members where capacity allows.
Data Management
· Assists with the development and implementation of BGCLPC’s data management processes related to Club member registration, attendance, program participation and outcome tracking.
· Manages organization-wide administration of the annual National Youth Outcomes Initiatives survey, collaborating with leadership and Club teams as needed.
· Creates and maintains written resources to support Club staff in their implementation of relevant data management processes.
· Assists in the development of grant applications, budgets and reports related to specific programs, projects, sites and BGCLPC as a whole.
Partnership Development
· Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with local schools, sharing membership lists, transportation requests and other relevant data.
· Monitors and develops strategies to meet emerging needs of key stakeholders – Club members, families, school partners and local communities – that fall within the scope of BGCLPC’s mission.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Attends BGCLPC, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Indiana Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs and/or community meetings/events as needed.
· Participates in trainings required by the Club, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Indiana Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs, vendors, and/or supporters.
· Handles other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the leadership staff.
Internal: Maintains close, regular contact with the administrative team, Club staff and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/ instructions, instruct and advise/coach.
External: Maintains contact with Club members, family members, schools, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Indiana Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs, vendors and others to further collaborations and assist in resolving issues.
