Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

Are you an experienced logistics professional looking for your next challenge? We’re on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team in Aberdeen!
In this key role, you’ll be at the heart of our import and export operations - ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll manage end-to-end, multi-modal transport coordination, streamline logistics processes, and work closely with other departments to drive productivity and performance.
This role will see you working Monday to Friday – 40 hrs per week with flexible start time.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Operation Supervisor your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating international shipments by sea, air, and locally by road in line with client requirements.
  • Preparing shipping documents, tracking progress, and keeping clients updated.
  • Ensuring accurate, detailed data entry and timely invoicing.
  • Liaising with suppliers, vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer queries, handling complaints and resolving issues with professionalism
  • Building strong client relationships and providing excellent service.
  • To ensure invoices are correctly billed and completed and costs accrued within departmental KPIs

Due to the nature of this role, successful candidate will be required to complete extensive Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks covering the past five years.
