ABOUT THE ROLE - DFYNE YOUR CAREER

First off, it’s best I introduce myself (person behind the keyboard here), it’s not the norm on a job role spec, but I feel it’s important you get introduced to who you may be working with for a long time early on. I’m Jay, Head of Operations here at DFYNE, I won’t bull$h1t you and I’ll be honest, I think I’m looking for a unicorn.
We need an admin ninja, someone who can look at things with a fresh set of eyes and do exactly as the job title says… COORDINATE.
If you’ve seen us around, you may or may not know that we’ve experienced some… quick growth, which is great! There’s a catch though, rapid growth means we have a very busy warehouse and with a very busy warehouse, things can become chaotic and disorganised. That’s where you come in, to bring order to the chaos, make sure we have enough people to do the work, make sure we have the things that the people need and that the warehouse isn’t on fire or left with a massive hole in the wall.
You need to let your people skills shine through too because guess what, you have all the answers! Communication should be your bread and butter, speaking to people, getting to know what they need, how you can help make their lives easier and just make sure everyone is on the same page.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate, manage and communicate a robust rota
  • Track and manage the acquisition of warehouse consumables, tools and other materials or hardware.
  • Monitor warehouse housekeeping, liaising with cleaning operatives
  • Adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Identify, report and follow up on any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
  • Organise and distribute any deliveries or post.
