EDUCO’s Operations Coordinator PositionEDUCO’s Operations Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with daily business activities and administrative tasks. Our growing company is looking for a team player who can help oversee the operations of the business.
Title: Operations Coordinator
Hybrid: Most tasks can be performed remotely with access to a computer and internet. However, periodic visits to our physical office locations in Mount Pearl and Conception Bay South will be required.
Part-time: Approximately 20 hours per week.
Duration of Job: September 2025 – June 2026 (Contract position with potential for extension) $18.00 - $22.00 / hour depending on experience (Negotiable)

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

The Operations Coordinator must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to resolve problematic situations quickly with good attention to detail. Effective time management is crucial for this role, as it operates with minimal supervision. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for prioritizing and planning tasks to ensure they are completed efficiently and on schedule. We’re looking for someone with flexibility who can work in an extremely fast paced environment and who has the confidence to step-up and complete tasks that might be new to them.

Responsibilities
  • Private Tutoring Program Coordination: Assisting with the daily business activities within our Private Tutoring Program which would consist of handling new private tutoring requests, matching new students with educators, communicating with guardians and educators, hiring and onboarding new educators, scheduling meetings with educators, assisting with office scheduling / room bookings, etc.
  • Office Management: EDUCO currently operates out of two locations Mount Pearl and Conception Bay South. There are times we’ll need help cleaning and organizing the offices, picking up supplies, mailing packages, etc.
  • Workbook Development Assistance: EDUCO spends a significant amount of time developing our suite of educational resources which include workbooks developed using Microsoft Word. We’re looking for someone to help with the development of these workbooks which would include organizing the workflow of completion, simple editing / quality control tasks, and coordination with our suppliers.
  • Social Media / Marketing Support: We regularly use social media to market to new customers. We will sometimes require support making new posts and communicating with customers via social media pages such as Facebook and Instagram!
  • Odd Tasks: Occasionally, there will be odd tasks that come up that we’ll ask you to assist with! This could include items such as helping us decorate our offices for different holiday seasons or preparing our holiday gifts for our students. This adds some fun to your week.
    In this role, you’ll report directly to our Founder, Matthew. Matthew will be there (physically or remotely!) every step of the way to help lead you to success in this position and help you grow professionally!
