About the position

We are looking for a dedicated and decisive Operations Coordinator Event Logistics (m/f/d) for our German event logistics team .

In this position, you will play a central role in our operational processes, ensuring the smooth handling of import and export shipments via air and sea freight. You will coordinate all logistical processes – from planning to final delivery – always keeping in mind that the last few meters of a shipment are crucial to the success of a project.

This full-time position is based in Bremen and offers the possibility of working remotely part of the time. In addition, assignments at various event locations, such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, ​​or Munich, are required. Therefore, occasional travel is necessary.

Due to the special requirements of event logistics, it may also be necessary to work on individual weekends or in the evenings to ensure the perfect execution of the projects.

Your tasks

• Coordination and management of all import and export shipments in the area of ​​air and sea freight
• Close collaboration with internal departments, customers and external service providers to ensure timely and reliable delivery.
• Planning and management of logistical processes for events, including last-mile delivery and on-site coordination.
• Rapid adaptation to changing priorities and independent decision-making in operational challenges.
• Close collaboration with the Operations Director to implement strategic and operational objectives.
• On-site event support and monitoring of logistical processes to ensure smooth execution

Your profile

• Proven professional experience in air and sea freight logistics with sound knowledge of import, export and customs processes
• Ability to act confidently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and to make sound decisions even under time pressure
• Excellent organizational skills as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to undertake occasional business trips and flexible working hours, including weekend and evening work.
