Calling all Operations Coordinators in Mississauga!
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client’s team for a 3-month on-site placement at their Mississauga office. This role is ideal for a student or new graduate with an interest in quality management or occupational health and safety.
The Operations Coordinator will provide direct support to the Operations Manager in the administration and maintenance of our ISO and Health & Safety programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Motivated and detail-oriented with a desire to learn.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • An interest or experience in workplace health and safety or in an ISO-certified company is an asset.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and/or the Ontario Health & Safety Act is preferred.
  • Internal auditor certification or experience is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Help maintain and update documentation, including policies, procedures, reports, and logs.
  • Track timelines for the review of documentation to ensure all records are current.
  • Contribute to the collection and analysis of data for key performance metrics.
  • Prepare materials for meetings and training sessions, such as toolbox talks, awareness presentations, and agendas.
  • Document meeting minutes and training records.
  • Ensure all Key Performance Indicator (KPI) milestones are completed.
  • Assist with a variety of tasks, including Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings, workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
    Support the development of training and awareness programs related to ISO and Health & Safety.
