Operations Coordinator – London Gatwick Airport Join NCP’s team at one of Europe’s busiest airports! As an Operations Coordinator at National Car Parks (NCP), you’ll play a key role in leading Gatwick’s busy valet parking operation. Working on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern (both days and nights), you’ll coordinate a large, predominantly agency-based team to deliver a safe, efficient, and customer-focused service in a high-paced, safety-critical environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be at the heart of day-to-day operations - managing people, processes, and performance to ensure service excellence and compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and support your team to deliver a professional and efficient service. Act as the main point of contact for escalated customer enquiries and complaints. Oversee daily operations, resource planning, and incident management. Deliver clear shift briefings and ensure consistent communication across teams. Maintain compliance with company standards, Health & Safety, and operational policies. Coach and develop Team Leaders and staff to achieve individual and business goals. Monitor KPIs and SLAs, taking proactive action to drive continuous improvement. Ensure vehicles, systems, and equipment are properly maintained and faults reported promptly. Uphold site presentation standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. About You You’re an experienced and confident people leader who thrives in a fast-moving environment. You’ll bring: Proven supervisory or coordination experience (parking, aviation, transport, or logistics preferred). Strong communication and organisational skills.
