OPERATIONS COORDINATOR - OAKVILLE, ON

GrizzlyTrek is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team. This full-time position offers the chance to drive operational excellence, support the recruitment of local personnel, and foster meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities while managing technical staffing solutions. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong background in field or gas plant operations is preferred; trade experience with shutdown expertise is a plus.
  • Proven track record of mentorship and employee development.
  • Experience in recruiting and onboarding personnel
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities is an asset.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping and project management tools.
Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary liaison, building and nurturing long-term relationships with customers.
  • Crew Dispatching: Coordinate and dispatch operational crews to project sites, ensuring efficiency and readiness.
  • Local Recruitment: Assist in recruiting qualified local personnel, with a focus on aligning candidates with project needs and fostering community engagement.
  • Project Oversight: Work closely with teams to guarantee the successful and timely completion of projects.
  • Onboarding & Timekeeping: Support seamless onboarding for new employees and maintain accurate timekeeping systems.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering skill development and career growth.
  • Administrative Support: Manage logistical and operational tasks to enhance the team’s overall efficiency.
