Description The Data Analyst supports operational decision making through data discovery, visualization, dashboard maintenance, and automation. This role focuses on identifying trends and anomalies across ERP, SQL, and Excel data sources; creating intuitive visual representations of findings; and maintaining the company’s KPI reporting systems. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel/VBA, SQL, and business process improvement, with the ability to work independently and develop clean, accurate, and reliable analytics.-making through data discovery, visualization, dashboard maintenance, and automation. Extract, clean, and analyze data from ERP systems, SQL databases, and Excel based sources.-based sources. Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights to support operational and strategic decisions. Produce clear, visually compelling graphics and reports that effectively communicate data patterns. Maintain and enhance existing dashboard systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistent updates. Develop new reporting tools, dashboards, and lookup utilities used across the organization. Utilize advanced Excel and VBA to automate manual workflows and improve reporting efficiency. Write SQL queries to gather, join, and optimize datasets for analysis. Support and evolve business process improvement (BPI) initiatives through data-driven insights. Develop and support Power BI tools to deliver actionable analytics and enhance business process improvement initiatives. Update and manage HTML-based dashboard pages where needed. Document processes, maintain version control, and provide troubleshooting support for users. Requirements Required Advanced Excel capability, including formulas, Power Query, Pivot Tables, and VBA automation. Average to advanced SQL experience (querying, joins, data preparation, optimization). Strong analytical ability to detect patterns, outliers, and process inefficiencies. Experience creating engaging data visualizations and trend summaries. Working knowledge of HTML for dashboard updates and presentation. Understanding of business process improvement methodologies. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, including documentation and cross-functional collaboration Preferred Additional scripting experience (VBA, HTML/CSS, Python, JavaScript). Experience with APIs and data integration tools. Familiarity with Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools.
