Description

The Operations Data Coordinator is responsible for a wide variety of data management, administrative duties, and operational support functions concerning the processes of Hamilton Food Share(HFS) in support of the leadership team. Under the direction of the Administrative Manager or designate, this role is primarily responsible for supporting database operations, grants and funding compliance, donation processing, and general administration. Key responsibilities include database management, donation and tax receipt processing, grant compliance documentation, and correspondence preparation and review. The incumbent will organize and maintain office records, provide database analysis and reporting, assist with funding compliance activities, and support member agency training and onboarding. This role will serve as a point of contact for database support inquiries and provide technical assistance to member agencies and internal stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

  • First Aid Safety Certification, training provided
  • Clean Criminal Record Check
  • Must work on site

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

  • Working towards or has obtained a post-secondary degree or diploma in the field of Administration or an acceptable combination of education and progressively responsible experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills and comprehension.
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Database management expertise.
  • Excellent customer service, phone, and email etiquette.
  • Ability to adapt to new technology.
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, and email required.
  • Able to write and format moderately complex correspondence, including memos, letters, etc.
  • Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Use of a vehicle preferred.
