Description
The Operations Deal Manager (ODM) role: Acts as a trusted advisor, enabling compliant deal management to maximize revenue realization. You will do this by managing a critical deal pipeline, providing insights on complexity, volume, and arrival with a focus on de-risking deals to enable on time and accurate processing. The team partners with field sales, commercial solutions team, partner facing community and transact services. The Operations Deal Manager consults on multimillion transformational deals to help shape the future of new contract, billing, and other capabilities, ensuring that the processes are managed in a compliant and efficient manner. This role is accountable for driving operational excellence across Sales and Operations through the identification and creation of solutions to solve deficiencies, improve performance and maximize revenue. The successful candidate will be able to influence their business group priorities by acting as a facilitator between teams including business groups such as Legal and Corporate Affairs, Contracts and Negotiations, Credit and Collections, Finance and Processing. Ability to multi-task and project manage many tasks simultaneously, working under continual deadline constraints. Ability to simplify complex situations and apply analytical and problem-solving skills. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required. Multiple years' experience in Deal Management, Partner Management, Process, Project, or Program Management within Operations or Sales environments. Growth mindset, adaptability, and ability to deal with ambiguity is essential as we continue to transform. Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems by applying knowledge and judgment to identify approach and methods. Demonstrated impact and influence skills, including cross-boundary collaboration and the ability to build solid relationships with individuals at all levels. Ability to manage sensitive, business impacting information, and closely control dissemination. Confidence in self and organization, and a ‘can-do' attitude in the face of change and ambiguity. Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively with numerous virtual teams of diverse backgrounds. Project/program and relationship management skills or equivalent experience. Customer obsessed - always striving to meet or exceed customer expectations. Proven attention to details with financial acumen. Ability to work under tight deadlines when required. Understanding of industry objectives, strategic direction, and key competition. Can demonstrate a passion and curiosity for leveraging Continuous Improvement (CI) and / or Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive business improvements and efficiencies.
