Purpose of Position: We are seeking an Operations Delivery Specialist to provide technical and business support for MES and ERP applications (Manufacturing area) ensuring that problems are solved efficiently and effectively. The idea candidate will contribute to the MES and Manufacturing projects development and deployment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Professional Skills: Proven experience in application support or a similar role; MES; ERP Manufacturing; Knowledge of software development lifecycle and ITIL processes is a plus
  • Experience: 5-10 years in the ERP Manufacturing Module Area
  • Language Skills: Proficient in Italian and English
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with database management and SQL queries
  • Behavioural Requirements: Problem-solving and analytical skills; Communication skills; Proactive approach; Attention to details; Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve IT application-related incidents (MES and Manufacturing), service requests and problems in a timely and efficient manner in line with business requirements
  • Provide proactive and effective IT support to the MES and Manufacturing areas
  • Ensure all incidents, requests and problems are managed consistently and resolved within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Conduct post-incident problem analysis and development to eliminate repeat problems
  • Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, automate, and improve business processes and system performance
  • Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems are adequately resolved
  • Actively contribute to the development and the deployment of the MES and Manufacturing projects
  • Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes
