SUMMARY:

This is a hands-on leadership role for a strategic and organised individual with a track record of operational delivery and people management. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of strategy and day-to-day management across two high-impact charities working with families and communities in Bradford and beyond.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years’ senior operational leadership in the charity, VCSE, or social enterprise sector.
  • Demonstrable project management and staff management experience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A commitment to equity, inclusion, and mission-led leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the operational planning and delivery of both organisations’ strategic priorities.
  • Manage team workflows, HR processes, and line management where required.
  • Monitor project delivery and compliance with funding requirements.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with partners, commissioners, and funders.
  • Identify and develop income opportunities, including supporting funding bids.
  • Provide reporting, dashboards, and performance data to senior leadership.
  • Ensure effective policies, safeguarding procedures, and risk management are upheld.
