The Dadzi Wellness Centre is a groundbreaking, standalone First Nations primary care facility located in Fort St. James, in north-central British Columbia. Serving the Dakelh members of the Nak’azdli Whut’en, Binche Whut’en, and Tl’azt’en Nations, our centre is ideally situated on Stuart Lake, close to the communities we support.
Title: Operations Director- Dadzi Wellness Centre
Salary: $112,090 - $131,870 - $151,650 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: This position is a 2-year term with FNHA. When the term position ends with FNHA, it is intended that this position will be offered as a permanent role with the
Dadzi Wellness Centre Primary Care Clinic.
Hours: 37.5 hours (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)

KNOWLEDGE
As Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and integrating both traditional wellness and culturally embedded health practices within the First Nations-Led Primary Care Center (FNPCC). The role champions the integration of traditional wellness and culturally embedded practices within an interprofessional care model. Key responsibilities include developing a team-based care framework, overseeing the quality of coordinated care, and ensuring positive health outcomes through continuous coaching and support of team members. Additionally, the position provides operational leadership to a diverse group of healthcare professionals and oversees the centre’s corporate functions. Reporting to the Regional Executive Director of the FNHA Northern Region, this role also collaborates closely with the Primary Care Regional Manager (FNHA Northern Region), the Community Health & Wellness Director of the FNHA Northern Region, and the Interim Governance Board, which is composed of appointed community representatives.
