We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for an Operations Director - Europe within our Operations team to help support our Automotive business. Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables. As an Operations Director - Europe, you will collaborate closely with our Branch Managers and cross functional teams, at sites in the UK, Austria, Belgium, and Hungary. Your mission will be to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products to our esteemed global clientele.

As the Operations Director - Europe, you will:

• Overseeing Operational Profit & Loss for the region
• Driving efficiencies through continuous improvement activities
• Preparing business cases for capital expenditure requests
• Setting goals for direct reports aligned with the business strategy
• Managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels
• Aligning workforce planning with business needs and forecast predictions for an 24 -month rolling period
• Leading a Safety First approach and maintaining a zero-incident culture

What you will need to be successful:

• University Degree in Business, Economics, Manufacturing or Engineering or other quantitative degree
• Minimum 10+ years of strong business experience
• Automotive experience
• Business acumen with proven track record and expertise
• Excellent analytical skills, with experience rapidly building and analyzing business plans
• Expert project management skills with track record of managing multiple projects and driving results
• Proven ability to build relationships, influence decisions and drive results through internal partnerships
• Strong positive / can-do attitude and comfort interacting with all levels of an organization
• Proactive problem solving skills
