Your responsibilities

• You develop and articulate a long-term vision for the Operations Department, ensuring alignment with the needs of the business and with Legrand’s overarching strategy for sustained success and growth.
• With your strong people and management skills, you lead and manage the Operations Department, overseeing three specialized teams: Sales Solutions (12 FTE), Customer Service (10 FTE), and Project Solutions (12 FTE), each led by a dedicated manager. You foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability while driving team performance and development.
• Together with the teams, you implement and continuously improve operational processes tailored to meet the company’s evolving needs. You cultivate a culture of efficiency, knowledge-sharing, and people development.
• You align operational capabilities with sales goals, ensuring timely delivery and effective coordination across departments to meet customer and business needs.
• You develop and implement training programs for both internal staff and external stakeholders, ensuring they are equipped to handle new products, technologies, and evolving industry standards.

Your profile

• You have a proven successful experience in operations management within a technical project-based business. Experience in transforming a flow business into a project-based business is considered a plus.
• A strong background in people management is essential, with the ability to effectively lead and manage both internal and external stakeholders.
• You possess in-depth expertise in setting up and optimizing processes, managing projects, and overseeing customer service functions.
• Prior experience as a member of a Management Team is preferred.
• Knowledge of tender processes is an advantage, as is familiarity with ERP system implementation.
• Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is required to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
