Job Description Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Support Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production and utility equipment. Support basic troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues under supervision. Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for equipment servicing and breakdown support. Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and equipment history logs. Project & Engineering Activities Support execution of engineering, automation, and process improvement projects. Assist in installation, commissioning, and validation of new machines, tools, and systems. Support data collection, documentation, and follow-up actions for assigned projects. Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and waste reduction activities. Support implementation and sustainment of standard work, visual management, and shop-floor discipline. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and equipment reliability. Support root cause analysis activities using basic problem-solving tools (A3, 5-Why, Fishbone). Manufacturing 4.0 / Digitalization Support data-driven manufacturing initiatives, including basic use of production dashboards, OEE tracking, and digital maintenance logs. Assist in adoption of Manufacturing 4.0 tools such as sensors, automation, PLC/HMI interfaces, and digital reporting systems (as applicable). Support continuous improvement through analysis of real-time production and maintenance data. Safety & Compliance Follow EHS policies, safety procedures, and manufacturing standards at all times. Support audits, inspections, and compliance-related activities. Promote a strong safety and continuous improvement culture on the shop floor. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Experience: Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering roles (internships included). Technical & Professional Skills: Fundamental knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices for production and utility equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, SOPs, equipment manuals, and process flow diagrams. Working knowledge of AutoCAD for viewing, editing, and preparing basic engineering drawings and layouts. Awareness of Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, waste elimination, and standard work. Basic exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and root cause analysis tools (5-Why, Fishbone, A3). Understanding of production and maintenance KPIs such as OEE, downtime, cycle time, and efficiency. Awareness of EHS requirements, industrial safety standards, and safe work practices. Behavioral Skills: Strong learning mindset and analytical thinking. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to new technologies. Preferred Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and adaptability.
