Description
EnerMech is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to support the planning and execution of offshore and onshore PPU (Process, Pipeline, and Umbilical) service operations in Guyana. This role works closely with Operations and Project leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery across multiple service lines. You will play a key role from engineering and preparation through execution and close-out, acting as a technical and operational point of contact for both internal teams and clients. Job Description: Support the engineering and execution of PPU service operations, including: Filling, flushing, pigging, leak testing, hydrotesting, dewatering, and conditioning Umbilical hydraulic, electrical, and fiber optic testing Umbilical commissioning, fluid displacement, bolting, torquing, and tensioning Prepare operational procedures, risk assessments, and project execution plans. Coordinate and support field operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with approved procedures. Ensure all equipment is fit for purpose and meets project specifications. Interface directly with client representatives and internal project teams. Promote and uphold EnerMech’s safety, quality, and environmental standards. Support worksite readiness including permits, loadouts, packing lists, and equipment preparation. Maintain accurate operational documentation and support project close-out reporting. Assist with Management of Change processes when scope or execution requirements evolve. Provide support to workshop and base operations as required. Engineering degree or mechanical trade/vocational qualification. Valid driver’s license and passport. Offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, medical) or ability to obtain.3+ years of field experience in a supervisory or engineering role within PPU services or a related discipline. Hands-on operational experience in one or more PPU service lines. Strong understanding of offshore and onshore operations. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
