Follow instructions provided by the Shift Charge Engineer (SCE). Carry out routine tasks, health checks, and scheduled operations in assigned areas, promptly reporting any abnormalities to the SCE. Assist the SCE in implementing Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Prepare the Gas Turbine/Generator for operation, including equipment and system line-ups prior to plant start-up. Operate and monitor Gas Turbine & Generator Auxiliary Systems/Equipment (e.g., Lube Oil, Control Oil, Jacking Oil, Compressor Discharge Purge, Fuel Oil, Fuel Gas) as well as Balance of Plant (BOP) Systems/Equipment (e.g., Demineralized Water, Cooling Water, Service/Instrument Air, Fire Protection). Conduct walk-around inspections of all equipment within the assigned area of responsibility. Report all irregularities or abnormalities to the Control Room Operators and SCE. Respond promptly to process upsets, apply immediate corrective actions, investigate root causes, and recommend suitable long-term solutions. Verify operational parameter readings by cross-checking local instruments against Central Control Room data. Review operational data to ensure equipment is operating within normal parameters and maintain detailed logs of significant activities and events. Monitor equipment for unusual conditions such as abnormal noise, vibration, loose connections, or lubrication issues. Raise fault notifications as necessary. Generate and manage Work Orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), if applicable. Operate electrical switchgear at all voltage levels (HV/MV/LV). Supervise plant employees and oversee contractor performance as directed by plant management. Actively promote and participate in the Company’s QESH (Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health) programs, projects, and initiatives. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned. Qualification Requirements Minimum education requirement BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineer Licensed Engineer Minimum work experience Newly graduate with good scholastic records Ideal Work Experience At least (2) years of total operation experience, preferably in a gas turbine power plant and a wide range of auxiliary equipment.
