Description

Are you excited by the idea of working on groundbreaking technology in the offshore wind industry? Do you enjoy taking ownership in a hands-on role, where fieldwork meets engineering? If so, you could be our next Operations Engineer!

Responsibilities

WHAT DO YOU DO?

We’re developing innovative offshore technology and need someone who’s ready to take ownership of operational execution. As our Medior Operations Engineer, you’ll coordinate and carry out test campaigns—both onshore and offshore—making sure everything is ready, runs smoothly, and meets safety and quality standards.
You’ll be the link between design and fieldwork: planning operations, aligning with subcontractors and suppliers, troubleshooting issues on site, and reporting results back to the engineering team. You work both independently and closely with colleagues from different disciplines to deliver reliable, safe, and well-documented test operations.
If you like getting your hands dirty, solving practical challenges, and being at the heart of innovation, this role is for you.

YOUR ROLE INCLUDES

  • Preparing and executing test campaigns – You plan and coordinate field activities, including equipment mobilisation, installation, and testing—ensuring smooth execution in close collaboration with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Ensuring system readiness – You lead or support commissioning activities and system checks to ensure all equipment and setups are fully functional.
  • Planning and documentation – You create and contribute to test plans, operational procedures, and QHSE documentation, and write clear, well-structured reports.
  • Working safely and proactively – You help promote a strong safety culture by acting as a safety leader, supporting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards on site.
  • Collaborating across disciplines – You work closely with engineers, project leads, and site teams to align on project execution. You also act as a contact point during operations and support knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Managing equipment and resources – You help plan and track operational resources, organise the return and maintenance of tools and materials, and support efficiency by identifying potential bottlenecks.
