Do you possess an innate ability to navigate the Linux landscape and view Puppet and Terraform as essential tools of your craft? If so, an exciting opportunity awaits within our innovative Manchester-based team.
Here, you’ll be pivotal in maintaining and elevating the performance of our core data capture infrastructure. Your expertise will directly contribute to the continuous availability and efficiency of these vital systems, supported by a talented group of Operations Engineers and technical leadership.
This role offers significant engagement with our automation strategy, leveraging your skills in Puppet and Terraform to deploy, configure, and manage our technological capabilities at scale. Beyond routine operational tasks and support, you’ll find ample opportunity to shape the future of our system management through the development and implementation of advanced automation solutions.
Our engineering culture champions modern practices, including Git for collaborative development, CI/CD pipelines for rapid iteration, rigorous unit testing, and adherence to open-source standards. We actively encourage exploration across diverse technologies and internal domains. Furthermore, after an initial integration period, you’ll have the option to join our compensated out-of-hours on-call rotation.

  • Experience with Terraform and Puppet for infrastructure management
