Perfectly Designed Events is a full-service Wedding & Event Planning company based in London, Ontario.
We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and outgoing individual to join our team as a Part-Time Operations & Event Assistant. This is a casual position with fluctuating hours, based on where we are at in our event schedule. Our busiest months are March-October, with November-February being our slowest months.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, loves weddings and logistics, and wants to play a key role in helping a fast-paced creative business run smoothly.
You will be the right hand to the Owner & Lead Planner, helping with day-to-day operations, team management, and event execution. Your responsibilities will vary depending on the season but will include a combination of in-office support, administrative tasks, team coordination, and on-site event assistance.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • Minimum 1 in-office day per week required (Byron area)
  • Additional in-office or work-from-home hours required depending on the season
  • Includes select weekends for on-site wedding and event support

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Assist the Owner with inbox and calendar management, email drafting, and task follow-up
  • Help keep internal systems and workflows organized and up to date
  • Support with project timelines, meeting prep, and client communications
  • Attend weddings and events as needed to help support the Event Day team
  • Manage small office logistics and assist with back-end vendor and client coordination
  • Occasionally assist with social media scheduling, spreadsheets, or design work

This position is perfect for you if:

  • You have customer service, restaurant or hospitality background
  • You are able to remain calm under pressure
  • You have an eye for detail and organization
  • You are comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once
  • You are great at writing clear, professional emails
  • You are punctual, proactive, excited to learn, and unafraid to ask questions
  • You have weekday availability, and weekend availability during peak wedding season (May - October)
  • You have access to a reliable vehicle and are open to traveling for event days (we operate through all of Southwestern Ontario)

No event planning experience is necessary, but customer service, restaurant or hospitality experience is ideal. We are happy to train the right candidates!
