You will focusing on planning & preparing our Refinery for a Safe Turnaround. More about the job Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future ● Responsible to plan, prepare and execution of events related to Operations including operations resource planning for designated unit(s). Events are defined as: -Turn-arounds (TA) - Unit shut-downs (SD) - Major maintenance activities i.e. Tank-inspections, absorbent changes etc. - (Pre)Commissioning and initial start-up of capital investment projects ● Back-up Event team member in Turn-arounds and Unit Shut-downs ● Responsible and monitoring TA/SD execution and instruct shift teams accordingly and reporting progress ● Liaison of Operations to 3rd parties/suppliers related to operations support for preparing and execution of Turn-arounds and Shut-downs assigned by Operations Event Lead ●Responsible (within Operations) for optimizing the Shut-down, Start-up and Clearing work instructions for designated area ● Responsible for correcting, reviewing and improving assigned Operations NMS Work Procedures ● Responsible for review of Shift Team Operations Shut Down Instruction to ensure all the scope are covered in the instructions ● Responsible to communicate and train shift teams related to events ● Work closely with all Internal & External stakeholders. Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role Diploma in Chemical Engineering or similar Minimum Polytechnic Diploma with 3 years of supervisory experience OR Higher NITEC with 5 years of supervisory experience OR GCE ‘O’ level with 8 years of supervisory experience in a Petrochemical /Refinery Environment Let’s get you started We look forward to receiving your CV and application by end 29 October 2025.
