Description
The Role Fisher & Paykel is one of New Zealand's best-known brands, a global company with a strong heritage. Our New Zealand origins, curious nature and passion to develop products designed around people are core elements that make us unique. Driven by our brand values of being real, sustainably minded, generous and curious, as a team we take a collaborative approach, have a culture where ideas are heard, and are united in our leading goal to be the world's most human-centred, #1 premium appliance brand. We are now entering a bold new chapter in our journey. Across Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, we are creating a world-class three-site campus: our Global HQ in Penrose, Distribution Centre in East Tāmaki, and landmark Global Experience Centre in Grey Lynn. These hubs connect our people and our purpose, forming a centre of excellence for design, innovation and storytelling in Aotearoa. About the role We are looking for a 10-month fixed-term Operations Excellence & Inventory Specialist who will be responsible for developing and upholding global replenishment standards to optimize inventory management for Finished Goods (FGS) and Accessories. This role plays a lead role in the Operations Excellence team supporting Global & Market Supply Chain teams to manage inventory more effectively – balancing cost, lead time and service level. Your main responsibilities: Own finished goods inventory replenishment and fulfilment parameters to optimise service levels, working capital, and demand–supply alignment. Compile, analyse, and report inventory forecasts, budgets, and KPIs, providing actionable insights for monthly performance and micro-enterprise reporting. Continuously review and improve replenishment settings (lead times, routing, safety stock, segmentation) to drive inventory optimisation and DIFOT performance. Lead regular cross-functional reviews with Market Demand and Inventory teams, addressing backorders, stock availability, and Slow-Moving & Obsolete (SLOB) initiatives. Support markets with finished goods replenishment and fulfilment queries across core systems, including JDE ERP and Global Order Promising (GOP). Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring accurate master data setup, including items, supersession dates, and replenishment parameters. Act as a supply chain systems super-user, supporting system maintenance, user training, and best-practice adoption across global tools (JDE, Vanguard, GOP). What you’ll bring: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a complex manufacturing or Supply Chain business. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across teams and functions to support an efficient supply chain. Proven expertise in navigating both upstream and downstream supply chain processes to identify and resolve root causes of replenishment gaps and delays. JDE experience is desirable. Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Data Science or 3+ year of relevant work experience. APICS qualified an advantage. What we offer Along with a competitive salary, flexible working, ongoing development and excellent growth and progression opportunities, as a valued member of our team you’ll enjoy generous discounts on Fisher & Paykel and Haier products, life & disability insurance, discounted medical cover, access to our superannuation scheme, our subsidised staff café, and free car parking when you are on-site. Join us on our journey to redefine the future of home appliances and make a meaningful impact on the lives of people around the world. Apply here online! Please note that we have company closedown period from 19th December to 11th January 2026. We will start screening applications on 12th January 2026 onwards. #LI-LC1 #LI-HYBRID Fisher & Paykel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
