Job Description
· Good experience in travel operations management
· Should stay updated on travel industry trends, regulations, and technologies
· Should be well versed with the strategies that are being used to manage day-to-day travel operations efficiently
· Good experience negotiating with travel vendors and suppliers
· Experience in cost-saving strategies have you successfully implemented in previous roles
· Well versed with the strategies that are being used to upsell and cross-sell travel services
· Good product knowledge into various UAE destinations.
· Managing suppliers and effectively communicating with them.
· Contracting & negotiating rates with hotel suppliers / car & bus rentals
· Understanding the complete cycle of the process, hotel, car rentals, excursion and coordinating with the accounts department for payments / remittances.
· Maintain and record all customer data.
· Can handle all the operations activities.
· Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives
· Ensure that all workings are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
· Proven work experience as operations manager
· Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
· Leadership and organizational skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
