Operations Finance Manager
Are you an experienced finance professional eager to take on a leadership role that blends commercial acumen with operational expertise? We’re looking for a dynamic Operations Finance Manager to elevate the performance of our clients FMCG business. Primarily based in the office with multi-site responsibility (occasional travel), this is a fantastic opportunity for a financial professional who enjoys being ‘boots on the ground’ and heavily involved with driving decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial performance and ensure robust variance analysis to optimize operations.
  • Lead period and year-end closures, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial transactions.
  • Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans with accountability at the site level.
  • Provide decision support for operational performance, capex appraisals, and efficiency initiatives.
  • Champion continuous improvement and best practices in financial processes across sites.
  • Manage stock control processes to enhance accuracy and cash flow forecasting.

What You Bring to the role:

  • Qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified, with a strong foundation in financial and operational management would be preferred
  • Experience in finance leadership, preferably within food manufacturing sectors but similar industries considered (fresh produce, horticulture, pharma manufacturing or similar)
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, ERP systems expertise, and exceptional communication abilities.
  • Ability to inspire and develop teams while driving accountability and excellence.
  • Flexible and proactive, ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment and tackle challenges head-on.
