ABOUT THIS JOB: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern to join our Namify team. The Operations Internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a dynamic organization. You will work closely with our operations team to support and improve internal processes, assist with data analysis, help optimize the efficiency of our business operations and work with various departments to organize projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Organize and maintain an orderly warehouse environment Relabel products and materials as needed Remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift Support the operations team with the execution of projects, including conducting research, preparing presentations, and collaborating with other departments Assist in gathering, analyzing, and preparing reports on operational performance and projects Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements across various departments Help track inventory levels, manage stock, and ensure timely reordering of supplies. Assist in the development of inventory tracking systems. Assist with communication and coordination with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services Ensure accurate and organized documentation of operational procedures, contracts, and agreements Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and assisting with other operational tasks as required Taking ownership and pride in these tasks will allow you to thrive in this position for the benefit of both your team, Namify and our clients, and most importantly yourself. BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION: $16/hour PTO accrual Company lunch & events Requirements REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Will need to provide your own computer Safely lift, move, and carry boxes and materials weighing 20 lbs or more Remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift Exceptional communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Gmail) Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail Proactive and takes initiative to complete tasks in timeliness manner Proficient with data analysis tools or project management software (Asana, Trello, Tableau) *Require proper documentation for employment in the United States *Require pre-employment drug screen *Require High School diploma or equivalent preferred THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Operations Assistant, Lauren Welton SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, flexible hours based on student availability within 9am–5pm, with a minimum of 15 hours per week TRAINING: Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.
Responsibilities
The Operations Intern will support the operations team by organizing the warehouse, relabeling products, and assisting with data analysis and project execution. They will also help track inventory levels and ensure timely communication with vendors.
