REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate-level degree coursework (degree or in progress is preferred) in law, public administration, public health, social work, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience or academic background in audit, compliance, program evaluation, or performance measurement.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and produce high-quality deliverables.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • State of Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate. The successful applicant (even non-residents) must obtain a valid Kansas Certificate of Tax Clearance by accessing the Kansas Department of Revenue’s website within 10 days of the date the applicant has been offered the employment position. A Tax Clearance is a comprehensive tax account review to determine and ensure that an individual’s account is compliant with all primary Kansas Tax Laws. A Tax Clearance expires every 90 days. Responsibilities

We are excited to build on the successful launch of our internal audit and program evaluation initiative and are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Intern to help us expand and refine this critical work. This opportunity is ideal for a graduate-level professional (MPA, JD, MSW, MPH, etc.) with a strong background in policy analysis, compliance, or public administration who is eager to contribute to an evolving and impactful project.
