Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Operations Intern to join our team. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in both IT and operations, including system installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and deployments. You will work closely with our IT and operations teams, supporting day-to-day tasks and learning valuable skills that will set you up for a successful career in the field.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least ITE qualification or higher in a relevant field, or currently pursuing studies in IT, operations, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in IT systems, technology, and operations .
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear, understandable way.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with IT installations, system configurations , and basic maintenance is desirable.
  • A positive attitude , willingness to learn, and an eagerness to grow professionally.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English and Mandarin/Chinese is preferred (high frequency in dealing and coordinating with Chinese-speaking clients and vendors).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Exposure to IT installation and repair tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and hardware troubleshooting .
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Trello or Jira.
  • An interest in learning new technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation, setup, and maintenance of IT systems and hardware.
  • Help with basic systems administration tasks, including working with Windows and Linux servers.
  • Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, or networks.
  • Deploy IT applications , assist with system updates, and perform system recovery procedures as required.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to end-users in both verbal and written formats.
  • Assist with research and implementation of improvements to streamline operations and IT support.
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software-related issues.
  • Help with documenting IT procedures and creating user guides for internal use.
  • Support with minor tasks related to electrical wiring, carpentry, and metal fabrication (preferred, not required).
