Berger Moving & Storage, Inc is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in San Leandro, California! The Operations Supervisor manages a fleet of approximately 20 owner operators and crew ensuring on-time service and maintaining data integrity. Responsibilities for our Operations Supervisor include but are not limited to: Set schedules to maximize capacity and customer satisfaction; Hire and train local crew and contractors; Review local contractor profitability; Monitor equipment condition and maintenance; Maintain “Excellent” customer service quality rating; Other duties as assigned by management. The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred); Moving industry experience (preferred); Household goods dispatching experience (preferred); Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Able to multitask in a fast paced, stressful environment; Fluid problem solving skills; Geographical knowledge; Self-motivated by daily challenges; Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
