Job Description Purpose and Scope: Responsible for overseeing and coordinating day-to-day operational activities within department team. The duties and responsibilities of a lead can vary depending on the day-to-day company needs, size, and organizational structure. May be responsible for multiple short term and long-term projects, so ability to prioritize and maintain organization. Reporting directly to the operations manager. Responsibilities: Supervises a team of employees within a particular operational area. Provide direction, guidance, and support to team members, ensuring that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities. Identifying inefficiencies in existing processes and implementing improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality. Streamlining workflows, standardizing procedures, and introducing new tools or technologies. Resolve day-to-day operational issues that arise within their department or team. Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Assess the performance of team against established metrics, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions as needed to ensure targets are met. Responsible for training new employees and providing ongoing development opportunities for existing team members. Ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. Communicate important information to their team and serve as a point of contact for any operational issues or inquiries. Conduct regular audits or inspections and take corrective actions to address any deviations from quality requirements. Requirements Required PPE: Safety Vest Safety Glasses String Knit Gloves Skills / Qualifications: Analytical skills to identify root causes of problems and develop effective solutions to address them promptly Job Competency / Qualifications Education/ Training: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred. Technical Requirements: Technical skills and knowledge in Warehouse, Logistics, Operations and Fulfillment. Experience: At least two (2) years of related work experience in a warehouse, fulfilment center or logistics required.
