We are looking for enthusiastic applicants to join our team as an Operations Lead for our new store opening at Southgate Centre!

Responsibilities

As an Operations Lead, you will be overseeing the stockroom and retail operations to ensure the seamless functioning of the store. Including but not limited to…

Stockroom Management

  • Oversee stockroom organization, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient storage practices to maximize space utilization for better operational flow
  • Monitor stock replenishment processes to maintain optimal inventory levels, prevent stockouts, and minimize shrink through proactive loss prevention measures
  • Perform regular stock counts and thorough audits to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies

Retail Operations

  • Ensure store staff adheres and follows standard operating procedures and company policies, maintaining a smooth and compliant work environment
  • Support the execution of store promotions, pricing updates, and upholding visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales
  • Track daily sales reports and operational KPIs to identify areas for opportunities and optimize store performance

Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and motivate the operations team meet and exceed achieve performance objectives
  • Create team schedules that ensure sufficient coverage during peak periods to maintain smooth operations
  • Offer constructive performance feedback and address operational challenges in a timely and effective manner

Communication with Head Office

  • Act as the liaison between the store and head office, ensuring alignment on operational processes and company objectives
  • Communicate new updates, challenges, and feedback from the store to relevant departments at head office
  • Support the execution of company-wide initiatives, including new system rollouts and policy updates

Health and Safety Compliance

  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Conduct regular training sessions to educate the team on safety protocols, ensuring that everyone is informed and compliant
