OVERVIEW

We are a growing logistics and e-commerce business, with logistics as our core focus. We’re looking for an experienced and results-driven Logistics & Operations Manager to lead and optimise our transport, delivery, and operational processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, data analysis; to optimise our operations effectively, and will have strong management and organisational skills. This role is critical in ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality logistics and customer service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and warehouse operations.
• Proven experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, or e-commerce operations.
• Strong understanding of transport, delivery, and inventory processes.
• Experience managing self-employed or freelance teams is an advantage.
• Excellent data analysis skills to drive informed decision-making.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  Job Type: Part-time
  Pay: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
  Expected hours: No more than 25 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Manchester M1

• Manage and coordinate all transport activities.
• Manage category management processes to ensure optimal product availability.
• Oversee transportation management systems to facilitate efficient shipping and receiving operations.
• Utilise warehouse management systems to enhance inventory control and materials handling.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Supervise picking and packing operations to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including inventory levels and shipment statuses.
