Matthew Ely Jewellery is looking for a highly organised, proactive and tech-savvy Operations & Logistics Manager to join the team at our Woollahra Workshop & Boutique.


This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on organisation, communication and problem-solving, and loves finding better ways to make a busy business run seamlessly.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


  • Coordinate 100+ active custom jewellery orders and repairs
  • Manage production schedules, priorities and workshop capacity
  • Liaise daily with jewellers, setters, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Coordinate secure movement of jewellery between our boutique, workshop and suppliers
  • Manage suppliers, purchasing, inventory and stock levels
  • Identify opportunities to improve costs and purchasing efficiencies
  • Improve operational workflows across Retail Edge, HubSpot, Shopify, Asana and Xero
  • Explore and implement new technology, software and AI opportunities
  • Develop SOPs and improve operational processes
  • Oversee insurance, security requirements and operational risk
  • Coordinate communication across sales, workshop, accounts, marketing and management
  • Help ensure every client piece is delivered beautifully and on time

EXPERIENCE


  • Strong project management, coordination and organisational experience is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and confidently use new technology and business platforms
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, project management or similar operational systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, logistics, inventory or complex workflows is highly regarded
