Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Role: Operations & Maintenance Support Technician
Location: Field-Based across Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, West Midlands
Salary: £24,306 to £26,881 (dependent on experience) + overtime opportunities
Role Type: Permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Expanding upon our Operations & Maintenance team, we’re seeking to appoint a motivated individual into our Midlands region. In a skilled, stable and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in assisting the wider team with the daily operations of our water and wastewater networks. You will act as a dependable and proactive support to our subject matter experts in the region and be on hand for a variety of works that may arise, such as escorting contractors onsite, reading meters, collecting data and other maintenance requirements across the vast region. You’ll ideally be located in or around the Gloucester, Swindon or Worcester areas which will give you a good base for the role – learn more about where we operate.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Supporting our skilled technicians with maintenance tasks on a proactive and reactive basis
  • Meter reading and data collection at different sites across the patch
  • Escorting our contractors onsite with adherence to MOD requirements
  • Assisting the wider team with routine tasks across water and wastewater facilities
  • Maintaining our assets and equipment in line with contractual requirements and health, safety and environmental regulations
