ACCOUNTABILITIES

As a Operations Maintenance Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a multi-disciplined engineering team working in a manufacturing environment, managing external service providers, and ensuring all operations Maintenance activities are performed to AZ SHE requirements. You will drive a focus on compliance activities, manage regulatory quality compliance, and provide technical support for all Maintenance Engineering and Facility plant and equipment. Additionally, you will support the delivery of the site’s Energy Efficient programme aligned to AstraZeneca Corporate targets.
This role will be working a 4 on / 4 off 12hour Shift rota. To support the business requirements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Formal Engineering apprenticeship, likely with a HNC (ONC) academic qualification
  • Extensive experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical Maintenance Engineering
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent organisation skills
  • Considerable technical knowledge and high level of expertise of the job
  • Practical working knowledge of SAP
  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of automated equipment and processes, utilities and HVAC systems

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
