As an operations management trainee you will be responsible for successfully completing our 12-month paid leadership training program. Upon successful completion of our training program graduates move into Associate Superintendent roles in Service and Repair or New Installation and then progress to a Superintendent role. Relocation within a predefined Area may be required at the successful completion of the Training Program.Training ClassWe recruit for our training program year round. If your background aligns, a recruiter will contact you regarding your application once we begin interviewing in the fall.Training Overview2 months in Atlanta at our Regional Business Support Center (North American Headquarters)Safety, Sustainability, Elevator Bootcamp, and Operating ProceduresOverviews of Human Resources and IT systems; skills development4 months at a Training Host Branch (on the job training, job shadowing, Subject Matter Expert seminars)Line of business specialized training, safety protocols, cross-functional managementFinancials, labor relations, customer centric approach, and business analytics6 months as an Associate Superintendent, to ramp-up to a Superintendent position.Superintendent OverviewLead operations in a defined geographic area in an efficient and cost effective mannerVisit job sites, conduct quality audits, assist mechanics, and facilitate safety trainingsProvide support to the sales team and other lines of businessDrive efficiencies, calculate costs, and analyze reports to increase profitabilityJoin TK Elevator’s Operations Management Training Program and emerge as a leader.This is a safety sensitive position.Who we are looking forEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Associate Degree and/or 4 years of field service or construction related industry experience; or military service or law enforcement experienceStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to master excellent customer service, negotiation, project management, and conflict resolutionAble to carry 40 poundsWillingness to relocate at the completion of the training programMechanical aptitude highly preferredDue to the extensive training involved, temporary relocation may be required during the training year.
