POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Manager will further the mission of Roundup River Ranch by preparing creative, intentional onsite camp programming, supporting Outreach Programming and actively engaging in recruitment efforts (camper and volunteers) in preparation for the 2026 Summer Camp season. This is a full-time, temporary contract from mid-August through the end of October.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must be detail orientated
• Ability to share the mission with enthusiasm
• Strong communication skills
• Strong camp or out-of-school time programming skills
• Ability to work on a Team
• Must have the ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, kneel, crouch, stoop and stand
• Ability to interact and work with campers and adults for content and photos.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in education, child development, recreational therapy or a related field required; equivalent experience in out-of-school time programing or youth development may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Previous medical camping experience preferred
• Previous experience with program development and evaluation preferred
• Ability and interest in learning new things
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
