ABOUT US:

We are a leading transportation company operating a fleet of over 200 heavy trucks and recovery vehicles. As we enter a new growth phase, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager or Operations Manager to lead our operations, drive business development, and restructure the organization for long-term success.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a similar leadership role within a transportation or logistics company.
• Proven track record of building or restructuring operations in a fleet-based company.
• Previous experience in a competitor or similar organization is a must.
• Strong network and ability to generate new business and leads.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of heavy vehicle logistics, fleet management, and recovery operations.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the transportation and recovery fleet.
• Restructure and organize the operations department from the ground up.
• Develop and implement business strategies to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Lead business development initiatives to generate new leads and partnerships.
• Identify new revenue streams and expand service offerings.
• Ensure compliance with local transport regulations and industry standards.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, setting clear KPIs and goals.
• Collaborate with other departments (maintenance, HR, finance) to optimize performance.
