Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As the Operations Manager for our new facility, you will play a key leadership role in standing up our production operations, driving plant readiness, and managing day-to-day execution once live. You’ll work closely with the Plant Manager to build teams, processes, and systems to support efficient and scalable manufacturing of our data center cooling products.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green of Black Belt).
  • Experience in the data center or HVAC industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferable in HVAC or industrial equipment production.
  • Experience supporting a facility start-up or significant operational ramp-up.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, standard work, and production system.
    Job Type: Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 12 months
    Pay: $50.00 per hou

Responsibilities
  • Assist with plant layout, equipment commissioning, and process design during facility start-up.
  • Recruit, hire, and train the initial production team.
  • Lead daily operations including production scheduling, staffing, materials coordination, and efficiency improvements.
  • Drive safety, quality, and throughput targets across all production lines.
  • Collaborate with quality, and throughput targets across all production lines.
  • Monitor KPI’s and lead daily tier meetings to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop frontline supervisors and production team leaders to support long-term growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.
