QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is highly regarded but not mandatory; candidates with a trade or hands-on pumping background are encouraged to apply.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of substantial experience in a technical or operational capacity, preferably with exposure to pumping systems and packages in irrigation and agricultural domains.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate new business relationships.
- Proven experience in sales within the agriculture sector.
- Track record of driving sales growth and establishing enduring client relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation aptitudes.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Self-motivated and focused on achieving results.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this exciting role of Operations Manager, your duties will encompass overseeing business operations, nurturing existing client relationships, and fostering growth by cultivating and managing connections with end-users and resellers within the agriculture sector. Your expertise in fluid hydraulics and pumping systems will enable you to offer valuable technical insights to customers. With your adept salesmanship, you’ll excel as a natural hunter, leveraging your experience in selling pumping systems and packages, while also demonstrating proficiency in building a robust pipeline for future revenue streams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formulate and implement a sales strategy aimed at enhancing revenue generation.
- Identify and pursue new business prospects among end-users, resellers, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide oversight and management of all business operations.
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with current clients to foster customer loyalty and recurrent business.
- Offer technical expertise to customers and consultants regarding product applications.
- Develop and sustain a robust pipeline of future business opportunities.
- Achieve or surpass sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
