REQUIREMENTS:

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (mandatory for FMC QI designation).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding / NVOCC operations.
• Strong knowledge of customs documentation, TSA/IAC programs, and compliance.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience with freight forwarding software and pricing systems (CargoWise or similar).

• Serve as the company’s designated Qualifying Individual (QI) under FMC regulations.
• Oversee daily operations for air, ocean, and warehouse logistics.
• Ensure compliance with FMC, TSA, CBP, and other U.S. government regulations.
• Manage documentation processes for import/export shipments.
• Supervise warehouse coordination, drayage, and last-mile operations.
• Develop and implement operational KPIs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide operational support to the commercial team for quotations and client proposals.
• Lead and mentor the Miami office operations staff.
