Location: South Bridge, Edinburgh

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30am – 5:30pm

Employment Type: Full-time

About Us

We are a growing sushi takeaway chain with four stores across Edinburgh. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and hands-on Operations Manager to join our team and help oversee the day-to-day operations of our business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong hospitality management background who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high operational standards and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train and develop new team members. Prepare and manage front-of-house staff rotas.
• Oversee the daily operations of multiple stores and ensure smooth service.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food hygiene and food safety standards are consistently maintained.
• Monitor staff performance and maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Transfer stock between our Edinburgh stores during the afternoon. Collect takeaway packaging and other supplies from our warehouse and distribute them to each store.
• Support the business with general operational and administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' management experience in the hospitality or food service industry.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Full UK driving licence and confident driving a manual vehicle (essential).
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
