Job Summary:
Bizzell US has an immediate opening for an on-site Operations Manager in Mountainview, California. Bizzell is seeking an Operations Manager who will be responsible for providing operations management at NASA AMES.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain an access card to the site.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a federal government clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent field required.
  • 15 years of operational management experience is required.
  • 10 years of Federal government contracting (i.e., Federal Acquisition Regulation/System, Work Control, Property Accountability System, Acquisition of Equipment, Materials, and Supplies) experienced required.
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and complete work assignments in a timely manner.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Responsibilities
  • Direct oversight in managing NASA AMES facilities maintenance operations program to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Supervise facilities operations, monitor budgets, cost effectively order equipment, materials, supplies, ensure open-work order activities are completed, work closely with personnel and sub-contractors, etc. to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with Bizzell, NASA AMES management team, personnel, and sub-contractors on quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Performs quality assurance audits and inspections. Maintains accurate logs that documents incidents of regulatory non-compliance.
  • Prepare corrective actions plans to enforce safety and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee annual reviews and revisions of operating procedures.
  • Prepare operation reports and analysis.
  • Ensure documentation is maintained and submitted as contractually required.
