Description The Operations Manager oversees day-to-day operations at assigned location, ensuring consistent execution of company standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety. This role focuses on hands-on oversight, team supervision, and compliance with company policies and Massachusetts employment and safety laws. This is an exempt leadership position with on-site decision-making responsibility, but it does not include strategic planning or multi-unit authority. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shift operations to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met Supervise and support hourly employees and shift leaders Assist with scheduling, labor management, inventory control, and cost awareness Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements Address operational issues and communicate concerns to the District Manager Enforce company policies, attendance standards, and performance expectations The company reserves the right to modify duties based on operational needs. Requirements Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality leadership role. Demonstrated ability to supervise employees and exercise independent judgment in daily operations. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of labor scheduling, food safety practices, and operational controls. Must be able to travel during the hours of operations.
