As the Operations Manager at Centrus Energy, you’ll oversee uranium enrichment cascades in Piketon—juggling UF₆ processing, DCS control, and safety protocols with precision and creativity. You’ll operate machines, guide integrated system testing, and craft procedures that power both routine and emergency scenarios. Lead a team of experts, design training programs, and possibly even step in as Plant Manager—where every decision steers the future of clean, advanced nuclear energy.

You’ll build and mentor a high-performing operations crew, ensure compliance with NRC licensing and union agreements, and oversee and maintain responsibility for all centrifuge operations—from control-room management, cascade production to shipping and receiving UF6 cylinders, and Balance of Plant utility systems. Your mission: establish a strategic vision for the safe and compliant operation of uranium enrichment processes including building robust procedures, training, and emergency protocols; execute Integrated Systems & Test Plans (ISTP); manage UF₆ handling; and maintain plant readiness—always with safety and excellence at the forefront.
