POSITION SUMMARY

We seek an experienced and results-driven Landscape Construction Operations Manager to oversee daily field operations, project execution, and crew management. This role requires strong leadership, construction knowledge, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working with our current Ops Manager to implement better systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in landscape construction or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or operations management role.
  • Strong knowledge of hardscape and softscape installation, grading, drainage, irrigation, lighting, and site construction practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple crews and complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience reading contracts.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite is an asset.
  • Knowledge around general safety requirements is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all landscape construction operations, including scheduling, logistics, materials, and labor.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple job sites.
  • Supervise and mentor field supervisors, foremen, and crew members.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Conduct site visits for quality control, safety compliance, and progress tracking.
  • Lead performance evaluations of field staff.
  • Manage equipment and procurement of construction materials.
  • Troubleshoot issues proactively and implement solutions to stay on schedule.
  • Assist with the purchasing of equipment and materials
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
