We are looking for an Operations Manager to come and join the Bury St Edmunds Evri family that share our passion and drive to delight our Customers.
You’ll be joining our business as a key member of the Depot Management team. The Operations Manager is responsible for the performance of the operation whilst proactively seeking ways to improve cost, service & operational efficiency.
As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for motivating your staff, problem solving on a day to day basis and operationally. Each Depot has challenges, but you’ll have an experienced central team, senior Managers as well as peer mentorship to support you; this support will enable you to meet your potential and grow your experience.
To support our operation and manage your site fully, We are looking for someone who is flexible, But more importantly you must be able to make operational and strategic decisions at pace and have the self-belief to commit to a plan of action. This is a 5/7 role start time is 07:00 to 17:00 with flexibility needed.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Previous leadership and people-management experience with a particular emphasis on support, motivation and development.
  • Competent in the understanding of Management information and excel spread sheet.
  • To be able to identify opportunities for efficiency and perforce improvement in depots and deliver and demonstrate performance improvement.
  • Experience in 3rd party logistics, transport, and team leadership.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • CPC National certificate or equivalent. (Or commit to obtaining through Evri)
