LIFT TRUCK (POWERED INDUSTRIAL TRUCK) EXPERIENCED HANDS ON LEADER …WOULD BE A PLUS

Growing Transportation and Logistics company has an opening for an experienced Delivery Operations Manager, with Last/Final Mile home delivery expertise. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in operations and logistics and proven management, dispatch, and customer service skills, preferably in the Last and Final Mile segment. This position oversees all site operations including staffing, driver recruitment, KPIs, client relationships, and safety measures. This role will support several comingle accounts under one roof.
Industry: Transportation/ Furniture - Mattress White Glove Delivery / 3PL
Warehouse / Cross Dock Location: Edison NJ Raritan Logistics Center
Business Units: Aria Logistics / My Home Delivery

SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of Operations and Logistics experience in the Last/Final Mile Home Delivery field.
• 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in the logistics sector.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast paced work environment.
• Previous dispatch supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in computer software systems, dispatching platforms and Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus
• Lift truck / Fork Lift (powered industrial truck) certified is a plus
• Lift / pull / move merchandise weighting 100 lbs.
