About the role
Ops Manager ensures full end to end delivery from bulk beer in to packaged product out, linking with senior Source, Plan Make and Move leaders.
Define and deliver the short and long term strategy for the site in partnership with the Beer Operations Director & the Beer Packaging Leadership team (ESC) - Leading all employees and partner organisations to deliver consistently brilliant performance in a very busy operation - the primary beer supply site for GB and multiple export markets.
Ensure that the site operations are conducted safely and sustainably at all times, producing high quality products at competitive cost.
Key Accountabilities
Partners with Beer Packaging Governance, Engineering, Manufacturing Excellence and Scheduling Leaders and other team members across the supply chain to enable our 2030 ambition
Leads the creation of the long- and short-term site strategy and master planning, driving the execution of this across all levels on site.
Driving Improvement across all areas of the balanced scorecard (safety, quality, service, cost).
Excellence in Supply Chain
Experience / skills required
Desirable
Commercial understanding of production & supply chain management. Financially aware - Capex, Reliability & Maintenance
Deep knowledge of Manufacturing Excellence, packaging, lean methodologies, process control and process improvement.
